The title of this project came about because the homeless community continues to be overlooked. Everyone has a story – a journey that DOES deserve to be heard or seen! This idea originated from ROOM SEVEN STUDIO Founder, Charlie Ehrman , as he resides on the West Coast of the United States. When mentioning this idea to the rest of his friends and Yuntos , everyone was on board immediately.
We are more than grateful and happy to see that we were able to fundraise $300!
“Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission began as a small ministry run out of San Pablo Lutheran Church in Sun Valley where volunteers cooked and served hot meals to homeless men, women and children.” We chose to donate to them because it is the community that truly cares and helps those in the Van Nuys area. Their “mission is to prevent, reduce and eliminate poverty, hunger and homelessness.” They offer immediate assistance and long-term solutions and are also a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
